It is always best to be prepared and make sure your wills and/or trusts are set up correctly. The goal is to avoid confusing your beneficiaries, and to create a valid Will that the Court will admit to probate, so that ALL of your wishes are carried out as you have planned. In addition to these four basic documents, you may need additional documents in your estate plan to cover other estate planning needs (ie. Recovable (or Irrevocable) Trust, Declaration of Guardianship for minor children and/or incapacitated people prior to their incapacitated designation).
It is best to discuss your estate planning needs with an estate planning attorney. We look forward to creating the ideal estate plan for you!
